I love international rugby especially England winning.

And that's been happening quite a lot since the failure at the World Cup.

It's a game that's got everything.

Its followed by wankers in the main.
I grew up in a time when it was regarded as a posh boys game..hardly registered.
Dusty fucking Hare and Bill Beaumont.

My interest pricked a little in the mid 90s when it kicked off with the frogs on a regular basis..but that had nothing to do with the actual game...which is shite

As a working class offspring boy who made it to Grammar school I still enjoy it now. My school never played football despite petitions etc

Good game to play and completely different atmosphere to playing football. You slog it out for the whole game then shake hands when its over. Nothing wrong with that. Played rugby Sat morning, then football in the afternoon and Sunday afternoon.

Preferred football though. More skill in it I think.

Re: The Official Six Nations Thread
The 123rd edition of the Six Nations, which begins on Saturday, is set to be watched by the highest average attendance per match of any tournament in world sport.

Over the next seven weeks the northern hemisphere showpiece, which features England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland, France and Italy, will see the cream of European rugby meet across five rounds, culminating in the final set of games on 18 March.

Scotland play Ireland in the tournament's opening match in Edinburgh at 14:25 GMT, before defending champions England host France at Twickenham at 16:50 GMT, while Wales play Italy at 14:00 on Sunday in Rome.

Last year's tournament attracted an average 72,000 fans a game, leading sport's global standings above American football's NFL in second and the Fifa World Cup in third - according to statistics published by European football body Uefa.

a proper man's game, not like modern football that's dominated by over tattooed argie midget cunts who are only playing because of growth hormones. I love the six nations

Fittest sportsmen out there. Hit hard and shake hands when it's all over. Not much wrong with it for me.

I fear the improving Scots today.
